History is Human: A Journal of American Intellectual History
American History is informed by a History of Ideas
Welcome to History is Human: A Journal of American Intellectual History. This journal aims to provide a preferable intellectual history alternative of life affirming, history-loving light which counters nihilistic, reductionist darkness without obscuring the facts.
The essential mission of this project is to assert that history is not merely about the past. History is an examination of the human experience across time. History is human.
Please consider providing financial support to this endeavor to be part of a substantive academic reform movement that embraces the complexities of American history. Neither cynical nor utopian answers are sought here. Rather, this journal will continuously scrutinize and recognize how difficult and complicated our history has been, while simultaneously appreciating how far we’ve come. Please consider joining us by offering your support. Help us make history.
